Welcome back, today is an outfit post with a twist. Yes not one, not two but THREE looks in one post today !! What can I say, I’m feeling generous.
Suits are back, its official and have been all over the catwalks for at least the last 3/4 seasons. So why am I giving you 3 looks, well I want to show the versatility of this staple. A suit isn’t just a suit, it can be more than one outfit, hence the 3 looks !!
The full Suit
Okay lets start with the full suit. I have paired this with a simple oversized striped tee, letting the sleeves poke out of the jacket, this has a laid back feel to it. Adding my new Jeffery West boots to this look nails the smart casual memo.
Just the Trousers
Many people feel that the suit should be kept together, but why not just wear the trousers ?? For this look I added my trusty polka dot shirt and my backless loafers (I will admit I was a little chilly !!). This is perfect for spring, which apparently is close !!
Just the Jacket
I have used another pair of smarter trousers, but in a deeper blue. This still has a suit feel to it, but shows the ability to almost mix and match with your tailored pieces. To finish the look I have added my gleaming all white Stan Smiths.
I must add here what I am proposing is by no means ground breaking, or award winning journalism. I’m just pointing out if you invest in a suit then why not get your monies worth !! If you are feeling inspired to try a suit then have fun in how you style it !!
I am at London Fashion Week this weekend, so if you are in the area do say hello !!
I will see you on Tuesday with my next instalment of Ben Tries, I hope everyone has an amazing weekend.
