Welcome to benpechey.com and welcome to my first ever Coat Season, last year I showcased a Coat Lookbook which showcased the coats I thought were perfect for last winter. However so many pictures were wasted, so this year I have decided to give the 5 Coats and Jackets that I think are essential for the season ahead individual posts, so Coat Season will span this post and the next 4 posts, concluding my fashion content for 2017 with the final and special returning guest on Friday 22nd December.
Kicking off this linked series of posts is this beautifully practical Khaki Trench from Marks and Spencer, beautifully lined in a contrasting checked pattern, I fell head over heels for this number and snapped it up MONTHS ago at the beginning of September. A Trenchcoat is such a staple this season thanks to brands such as Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, Burberry and Calvin Klein 205W39NYC this is the best coat to start my Coat Season.
The reason I picked this one from a plethora of choices available was the cut and the length of the sleeves, so often when shopping in larger sizes the sleeves of things seem to be lengthened to ridiculous proportions. So the fact that these sleeves are purposefully rolled up means that my arms fit wonderfully.
This coat is perfect for those windy damp days that seem to make up so much of winter in the U.K. not only is it great with casual outfits but is super versatile and would well with smarter outfits too. Available in other colourways to please all, I am so pleased to ring the bell for the start of Coat Season on benpechey.com.
